Campbell joined the Company in 2020 as CEO and was appointed as COO in April 2022. He oversaw the build of the entire Northern Leaf facility and has overall responsibility for the cultivation, processing, engineering & maintenance, security and planning teams at the Company.

Campbell’s experience covers agricultural value chain facilitation, rural development and agri-businesses. He has a proven track record of working with the private sector, host country nationals and government officials. Campbell’s experience has also included interaction with international finance institutions, regional and international commodity traders.

As an entrepreneur, Campbell has owned and operated agribusinesses from horticultural export ventures to large commercial farms, successfully brokering and managing cross-border contracts in southern Africa and Europe. His experience includes hands on management of personnel, budgets, agronomy, logistics, irrigation systems, large work forces as well as climate smart agriculture and has in depth knowledge of the value chains for a wide range of agriculture sectors.

Campbell holds an MSc. In Sustainable Agriculture (South Africa) and a National Diploma in Agriculture (Zimbabwe).
